The big stores sell these screws for .67¢ to $2.10 each, and you have to buy a dozen of each and pay a shipping charge of around $10. Here, they're 50¢ to $2.10 each, and you can buy a minimum of 3 with a $2 shipping charge. About 18 screws delivered could cost what the big stores charge just for shipping.

The screw length value, i.e., "3/16", is the length of the threads.
The screw head diameters by micrometer measurement are:
- Fillister #6 = .200"; #8 = .235"
- Weaver oval #6 = .205" - .208"; #8 = .235"
If you use cheap rings the screws are metric. These won't work. Try a Chinese search engine.
